John Paul Klemowitch Obit

Mr. John Paul Klimowitch, age 53, of Barnesville, Pa., died Sunday, April 8, 2007, at St. Lukes Miners Memorial Medical Ctr. in Coaldale, Pa.

John was a 1972 Mahanoy Area High School Graduate. He served in the United State Navy from 1972 to 1976. Upon his discharge, he earned and Associated Degree in Electrical Engineering form Penn State Schuylkill Campus, in 1980. From 1980 thur 2002 John worked in the Tele Communications Industry with Western Electric, AT&T, Lucent and Agere. John last worked for LeGerity of Reading, Pa.

John was and avid outdoorsman, member of the Tuscarora Flying Club, Trenton Social Club, and served as Historian for the Tamaqua Raider Marching Band. He held a Private Pilots License.

Born in Shenandoah Heights he is the son of Paul Klimowitch of Mahanoy City, Pa. and the late Kathryn (Obrzut) Klimowitch.

Survived by his wife of 29 years, Mrs. Karen A. (Sheehan) Klimowitch;

One Daughter, Miss Katie J. Klimowitch of Barnesville, Pa.

One Son, Mr. Kyle J. Klimowitch of Barnesville, Pa.

Three Sisters, Mrs. Rose Mary (Klimowitch) Blackwell wife of Elmer of Tower City, Pa. Mrs. Tina Marie (Klimowitch) Bumbulsky of Mahanoy City, Pa. Mrs. Mary Rose (Klimowitch) Sinko of Minersville, Pa.

Margaret Kodlick Obit

Mrs. Margaret (Prekopa) Kodlick, age 88, of Whitehall, Pa., died Sunday, April 8, 2007, at Fellowship Manor in Whitehall, Pa.

Margaret was a member of St. John Slovak Lutheran Church 1 East Abbott Street Lansford, Pa.. She was a Coaldale High School graduate. Margaret worked as and Assisitant Buyer for the former Brights Dept. Stores of Lansford, and Lehighton Pa. from the late 1950's to late 1970's. Margaret was also a member of the Ladies Aux. of the West Penn Rod & Gun Club.

Born in Coaldale, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John Prekopa and the late Mary (Gabriel) Prekopa.

She is also survived by her

Husband, Joseph Kodlick of Northampton, Pa.

One Daughter, Mrs. Karen Drake wife of Jeff of Whitehall, Pa.

Mrs. Lisa M. (Golob) Supernant, age 42, of New Ringgold, Pa., died Monday, April 2, 2007, at St. Lukes in Bethlehem, Pa.

Lisa was a member of SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. Tamaqua, Pa.. She was a 1982 graduate of Marian Catholic High School, and matriculaed to Kutztown University earning her degree in Elementary Education. Upon graduation Lisa taught in the Panther Valley Schools. Lisa loved to cook,and write Short Stories.

Born in Northampton, Ma.,she is the daughter of John Golob, of West Warren Ma., and Helene (Pannazzo) Brunski wife of Daniel W. Brunski , of New Ringgold, Pa.

Roy L. Tiley Obit

Mr. Roy L. Tiley, Jr., age 75, formerly of Muhlenberg Park, Reading, Pa., died Monday, April 2, 2007, at Laurel Living Center in Hamburg, Pa, where he resided for the past four years.

Roy graduated from Lehighton High School Class of 1952, and entered the United States Airforce in 1949 serving until 1952, serving during the Korean Conflict. Roy served in the reserve's, stationed at the Willow Grove Air Station retiring in 1992, after 42 years of active reserve , as a Chief Master Sgt. . Upon being honorably discharged, Roy entered and graduated from Muhlenberg College of Allentown, Pa., with a BS/BA in Business Administration, class of 1957. Roy worked for Dupont in Buffalo NY. (1957-1965), Polymer Corporation 1965-1988, holding executive responsibilites. In 1992 he became a manager with Wetterau Trucking until retiring. After retiring Roy worked as a Security Gaurd for the Reading Area Community College.

He mantained faternal membership in the Reading V.F.W., American Legion Post 0308 of Willow Grove, and Andreas V.F.W. 5069

Born in West Penn Twp. he was the son of the late Roy Tiley and the late Mary (Koenig) Tiley.

Olga Briska Obit

Olga Briska, age 92, formerly of 101 East Ridge Street Coaldale, Pa., died Sunday, April 1, 2007, at St. Lukes Miners Memorial Geriatric Center in Coaldale, Pa.

Born in Coaldale, PA she was the daughter of the late Gregory Briska and the late Johanna (Ozefovich) Briska.

Miss Briska was employed as a waitress by Schraft's Restaurant in New York City before retiring and was a life long member of SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Coaldale, PA. She attended Coaldale Schools.

She is survived by several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Anna Briska, Jennie Briska & Steffie Briska and brothers Joseph & Philip.

Calling Hours: Wednesday 4-4-2007 from 10 until Noon at SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Coaldale 41 East Ruddle Street, Coaldale, PA 18218.

Mary was Methodist by faith and rertired from 15 Street Food Lane Grocery Store, of Allentown, Pa., having worked in the bakery.
