Obituary: Dorothy H. Zubey (March 26, 1920 - June 11, 2006)

Mrs. Dorothy H (Heisler) Zubey, age 86, of Hunter Street Tamaqua, Pa., died Sunday, June 11, 2006, at St. Luke VNAEP in Bethlehem, Pa.

Mrs. Zubey was employed by Former Atlas Powder for 44 yrs retiring from the Cap Line in the Wire Building in 1983. She was a member of the Atlas 25 Year Club. She worshiped at SS. Peter & Paul R. C.C. of Tamaqua, Pa.. .

She was the daughter of the late Claud Heisler and the late Della (Fink) Heisler.

Dorothy is survived by one Daughter, Miss Violet R. Zubey of Tamaqua, Pa., with whom she resided.

One Sister, Mrs. Eleanor Roberts of Tamaqua, Pa. Nieces & Nephews Also Survive her.

Preceded in death by her Husband Albert V. Zubey 1989, and two Sisters Mrs. Marie Evans, and Mrs. Mildred Gallagher.

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM Wednesday, June 14, 2006 and from 8:45 Am to 9:30 AM June 15, 2006.

Rosary Service Wed. evening at 7:30 PM Mass of Chrisitian Burial Thursday June 15, 2006 at 10 o'clock AM from SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. 307 Pine Street Tamaqua, Pa., Rev. William Linkchorst officiating.

Interment will be at SS Peter & Paul R.C.C. Cemetery, Tamaqua, Pa.
