Michael Kotus Obituary

Mr. Michael Kotus, age 89, formerly of Tamaqua, Pa., died Sunday, October 1, 2006, at Hometown Nursing & Rehabilitation Ctr. in Tamaqua, Pa.
Michael was a laborer for various construction companies, he was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church Lansford, Pa.
A WWII Army Veteran, Michael belonged to the Coaldale Legion, Tamaqua V.F.W., & Tamaqua American Legion. He was a life time member of the South Ward Fire Company.
Born in Tamaqua was the son of the late John Kotus and the late Mary (Haluska) Kotus.
Preceded in death by Brothers; John, Frank, Steve, & George Kotus, Sisters; Helen M. Kotus, Mary (Kotus) Dillon, Irene (Kotus) Tolan, & Susan (Kotus) Krell
Survived by Nieces & Nephews
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM Thursday, October 5, 2006. Office of Christian Burial with Rev. Scott Boghossian will be held from the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 5, 2006 .
Interment will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery in Summit Hill, Pa.
