Obituary: Marilyn D. Nelson (May 15, 1952 - August 17, 2006)

Miss Marilyn D. (Nelson) Nelson, age 54, of East Union Street Tamaqua, Pa., died Thursday, August 17, 2006, at St. Luke VNAEP Bethlehem, Pa.

Marilyn was Protestant by faith. She was a 1970 Tamaqua High School Graduate, and Graduate of Empire Beauty School. Marilyn worked as a aide for Redco of Pottsville, assisiting in the care of the mentally challenged.

Born in Coaldale, the daughter of the late Russell Nelson and Illomay (McLaughlin) Nelson.

Survived by her Five Sisters, Mrs. Renae B. (Nelson) Ziegler Mrs. Rochelle B. (Nelson) Lazarchick wife of Sam Mrs. Rosalind D. (Nelson) Hosler Miss Karen I. Nelson Mrs. Robin J. (Nelson) Krapf wife of Bob all of Tamaqua, Pa.

A Brother, Mr. Russell C. "Rusty" Nelson & wife Doris of Tamaqua, Pa.

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Monday, August 21, 2006. Funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 22, 2006 .

Interment will be at Sky View Memorial Park in Tamaqua, Pa.

Rev., Dr. David Grant and Rev. James Greaser will be officiating.
